Mumbai based Couture house ‘KALKI’ will be showcasing their exclusive collection themed as “THE MIRABELL COLLECTION” at Bombay Times Fashion Week, where Bollywood Actress Kriti Sanon, the talent powerhouse will grace the ramp for the KALKI on Sunday, 10th September 2017 at 4 pm. What’s more to offer? The entire show will be happening live on KALKI’s YouTube Channel.
The couture line owns an ensemble of luxury hand-crafted designs for high profile diva. KALKI is a home to a team of talented designers that work with their own unique and distinctive design skills and passion in creating a mélange of styles to meet the dreams of all brides. The amalgamation of traditional aesthetics and modern sensibilities onto a couture wear is the brand’s philosophy in creating a collection.
KALKI’s creations have swiftly found a new spot in nearly every bride’s trousseau; we take immense pride in creating extravagant ensemble, The Mirabell Collection. Inspired by the archives at the royal palace gardens, the florals, leaflets and foliate along with the birds’ motifs that evoke a sense of elegance and panache is the highlight of this collection. Using silk velvets, duppions and satins along with shear nets and organzas, the outfits from KALKI's signature collection are lovingly crafted to last generations.
The influence for the color palette for this year’s Mirabell collection is drawn from the Medieval European era’s palace gardens surrounded with natural influences like the flowers & birds which seek to create an exclusive identity. The idea is to add varied hues starting from rustic royal maroons, burgundy, aristocrat greens at the same there are play of colors like pastels, champagne, rose quartz, ivory, etc.
Driven by the weaves of traditional& European artistry, Mirabell Collection renders statement ensembles instilled with royalty, feminine elegance and urbanity giving it a luxurious feel.
Every outfit in the line will be telling a unique story in a sartorial style with Kriti Sanon’s show-stopper outfit inspired by natural luxury, architectural structures and elaborateness in all forms of design.
